PENTAGON PROTECTION PLC
OVERSEAS CONTRACT GAINS
Pentagon Protection Plc ('Pentagon' or 'the Group'), the provider of safety and
security products for commercial, architectural and automotive glass, announces
that its Pentagon Filmtek division has won contracts in Dubai and Germany worth
up to £330,000.
The larger contract, worth up to £200,000, from a leading hotel and retail
group, is to protect the glass of a well-known office and shopping complex in
Dubai, using its proprietary FT800 bomb blast film and anchoring system. The
contract will commence in July 2005.
The second award is from SKE GmBH ('SKE'), one of Germany's leading facilities
management companies, worth £130,000 for an initial contract for the supply and
installation of FT400 solar reflecting film for six American schools in Germany.
This will commence in late June 2005.
SKE has itself won a contract, valued at $470million, to renovate, maintain and
service 43 schools in the Offenbach district and Pentagon hopes to provide its
services to this project and to other SKE contracts throughout Germany.
Both contract gains will impact the last quarter of Pentagon's final results for
the year ended 30 September 2005.
Commenting, Graham Bannerman, Chief Executive of Pentagon, said:
'These contracts could lead to further work from these client companies, and
again affirm the Group's stated corporate strategy of providing products and
services to international companies.'
