                             Share Option Exercise

Following the exercise of an option to subscribe for 607,914 new ordinary shares
in ASOS plc at 3.5p per share today, application has today been made for the
admission of 607,914 new ordinary shares to trading on the AIM market.

The new ordinary shares will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares
of the Company and dealings in the new ordinary shares are expected to commence
on 10 September 2004.
