Nick Beighton appointed as Finance Director
Jon Kamaluddin to take up role as International Director
Following the announcement on 17 November 2008, ASOS is pleased to announce that Nick Beighton has been appointed as Finance Director and Company Secretary of ASOS with effect from 27 April 2009 and that Jon Kamaluddin, the current Finance Director, will become International Director after an appropriate handover period.
Nick Beighton, age 40, will be joining ASOS from Luminar plc ('Luminar'), the FTSE 250 listed leisure company, where he is currently Finance Director. Prior to joining Luminar in 2005, Nick spent seven years at Matalan Retail plc where he was Head of Finance and, latterly, an Executive Director with responsibility for business change and systems. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in 1993.
Nick's past directorships include having served as a Non-Executive Director of 3D Entertainment Ltd., Choir IT Ltd and as a Director of a number of Luminar's subsidiaries.
There are no other details regarding Nicholas Timothy Beighton required to be disclosed under paragraph (g) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules.
Nick Robertson, the ASOS Chief Executive, commented:
