ASOS plc ('ASOS' or 'the Company')
Holding in Company
ASOS was advised on 21 December 2006 that Fidelity International Limited, and
its direct and indirect subsidiaries, have acquired 954,387 ordinary shares in
the Company and now hold a total of 10,326,675 ordinary shares, all
non-beneficially, which represent approximately 14.34 per cent. of the entire
issued share capital of the Company.
Of the total shareholdings notified: 531,700 ordinary shares are held in the
name of Bank of New York Brussels; 217,000 ordinary shares are held in the name
of Northern Trust London; 234,000 are held in the name of Mellon Bank; 1,438,300
are held in the name of Citibank London; 683,200 ordinary shares are held in the
name of State Str Bank and Trust Company London; 4,635,488 ordinary shares are
held in the name of Brown Bros Harriman Ltd Lux; 441,787 ordinary shares are
held in the name of Brown Brothers Harriman and Co; and 2,145,200 ordinary
shares are held in the name of JP Morgan, Bournemouth.
