ASOS was advised on 4 August 2005 that Quentin Griffiths had sold 750,000
ordinary shares of the Company on 3 August 2005, in response to institutional
demand.

Following the above sale, Mr Griffiths now holds 6,000,000 ordinary shares of
the Company, which represent 8.36 per cent. of the issued share capital of the
Company.
