ASOS appoints Unipart Logistics as distribution partner
The Board is pleased to announce that it has appointed Unipart Logistics as its
distribution partner. Under the terms of the agreement, Unipart Logistics will
take over the management and running of the ASOS distribution centre in Hemel
Hempstead. Consequently, Supply Chain Director, Greg Conway, has today resigned
as a director of the Company.
Commenting on the agreement, Nick Robertson the Chief Executive of ASOS said:
'This agreement with Unipart Logistics is absolutely the right move for ASOS. We
remain confident about the prospects for ASOS and it is vital our logistical
capabilities keep pace with our own growth forecasts.
I would like to thank Greg for his contribution to ASOS and wish him well for
the future.'
