AssetCo awarded £500,000
Swift Water and Flood Rescue training contract
AssetCo plc (AIM:ASTO), the integrated services provider, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the contract to train the participating Fire and Rescue Authorities (FRA) of the South East Regional Management Board in Swift Water and Flood Rescue.
As a leading provider of Integrated Technical Rescue Training, AssetCo will provide the training at their dedicated Swift Water and Flood Rescue Centre in Nene. The contract is for three years with an option to extend for a further 12 months, and is worth in excess of £500,000.
The South East Region consists of the County Councils of Oxfordshire, Surrey, West Sussex and the Isle of Wight and the combined Fire Authorities of Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes, Royal Berkshire, East Sussex, Kent and Medway Towns and Hampshire.
AssetCo were recently awarded the contract for Swift Water and Flood Rescue training for the London Fire Brigade worth circa £500,000 over a five year period.

'We are extremely pleased to have the opportunity to work with the South East Region in providing our IRIA accredited Swift Water and Flood Rescue Training. This is one of the largest contracts awarded for water rescue training in the UK to date.
We will be conducting the training at our Swift Water and Flood Rescue Training Centre at Nene, Northampton - the only dedicated pumped water rescue training facility in the UK. This facility is owned and managed by AssetCo, enabling us to tailor our services to accommodate the specific training needs and schedules of our clients.'
