AssetCo Strengthens Senior Management Team
New Managing Director of Vehicle and Emergency Equipment Services
AssetCo plc, ('AssetCo' or the 'Company') is pleased to announce the further
strengthening of its operational management team with the appointment of Peter
Mounsey, as Managing Director of the Company's new and enlarged Vehicle and
Emergency Equipment Services business, with immediate effect.
Peter joins AssetCo from his role as Director for Operations & Post Deal
Services at Grant Thornton where he specialised in helping companies and private
equity houses with the integration and restructuring of businesses post
acquisition. He has provided advice and hands-on implementation for a number of
large and complex operational integrations in a variety of sectors, including,
manufacturing and automotive in the UK and internationally.
Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Peter was Managing Director of a UK based
manufacturing company where he led a successful restructuring programme.
Previously he has held senior operational management roles in private sector
companies and consultancies where he gained a track record for restructuring for
profit and performance improvement.
Peter, in his role at Grant Thornton, worked with AssetCo in order to structure
the new Vehicle and Emergency Equipment Services business following the
acquisition of AssetCo subsidiaries, TVAC and UV Modular, at the end of last
year. His focus, going forward, will be to steer the development of the business
to maintain and deliver manufacturing and service quality whilst reorganising
for ongoing growth.
The Company's Operating Management Board now comprises Steve Bristow (Business
Development Director), Mark Clissett (Engineering Director), Frank Flynn (Chief
Financial Officer of AssetCo plc), Kaye Morton (Finance Director of AssetCo
Group), Peter Mounsey (Managing Director - Vehicle & Emergency Equipment),
Damian Murphy (Procurement Director), Jeff Ord, CBE, (Managing Director
Emergency Resource) and Jeff Stone (Client Account Director). It is chaired by
David Smith who is also Managing Director of AssetCo's Emergency Support
Services operation.
Commenting on the announcements, Chief Executive Officer, John Shannon said:
'Peter's appointment and that of Kaye Morton announced earlier this month,
complement a process of internal management restructuring in AssetCo last year
designed to better realign the extensive expertise of the Company's senior
management team to the rapidly expanding business. I am very pleased that
AssetCo's reputation is such that we are able to attract and retain people of
such calibre - I think it is a great testament to what we have achieved in a
relatively short space of time'.
