                          Shareholding Notification


Following the recent placing of a total of 3,359,935 new ordinary shares in
AssetCo plc (the 'Company') announced on 7 February 2008, the Company's total
issued share capital is now 71,832,554.

The Company has also been informed today that Mr. Denis Mellon sold 2,775,637
ordinary shares of 25p in AssetCo plc at a price of £1.88 per share on 14th
February. As a result Mr. Mellon no longer owns any shares in AssetCo plc and
is no longer a significant shareholder in the company.
