Associated British Foods And Cargill Complete Joint Venture.


Associated British Foods plc ('ABF'), the international food, ingredients and
retail group, today announced the completion of an agreement to form a
standalone joint venture business in the UK between its arable business, Allied
Grain, and Banks Cargill Agriculture ('BCA'), a wholly-owned subsidiary of
Cargill PLC ,as announced on 9th December 2004. The joint venture, which is 50%
owned by each partner, will trade as Frontier.
