      Completion of disposal of British third party flour milling business



Associated British Foods plc, the international food, ingredients and retail
group, today announced the completion of the sale of its British third party
flour milling business to ADM Milling Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of
Archer Daniels Midland Company, as announced on 19 December 2002.
