Trevor Shaw, who will be 66 years old this month, has expressed a wish to
retire from full-time executive duties.
David Wilson will be joining us in December as Director of Legal Services and
Company Secretary. David is presently the Company Secretary and General
Counsel of Debenhams plc. Before that he was Group Company Secretary of BAT
Industries plc. David is a solicitor and a Fellow of the Institute of
Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. He is also a member of the
Turnbull Committee on Internal Control for listed companies and a member of
the Law Society's Standing Committee on Company law.
Trevor Shaw, who will remain as an ABF board member and retain responsibility
for pensions, has agreed to be available to support David for a short period
of time following his appointment.
