Medical Property Investment Fund acquires the First Tranche of the Apollo
Portfolio

Further to the announcement made by the Company on 7 June 2005 in relation to
the acquisition of the Apollo Portfolio, the Company is pleased to announce that
the acquisition of the First Tranche completed today in accordance with its
terms.

Terms defined in the announcement of 7 June 2005 have the same meaning when used
in this announcement.
