                        Appointment of Company Secretary



Serena Tremlett has been appointed Company Secretary of The Medical Property
Investment Fund Limited ('MPIF') which has announced proposals to change its
name to Assura Group Limited.


As Serena has become an employee of a MPIF subsidiary, she has accordingly
resigned her position as a non-executive director of MPIF with immediate effect.
