Transaction by Person Discharging Managerial Responsibilities

The interest of Lynn Tetrault, a person discharging managerial responsibility, in the shares of AstraZeneca PLC has changed as detailed below.  Lynn Tetrault has interests in the American Depositary Shares (ADSs) of AstraZeneca PLC.  One ADS equals one ordinary share.

On 29 March 2011, Mrs Tetrault exercised an option over 67,934 ADSs at an option price of $37.76 per ADS.

Following the exercise, Mrs Tetrault sold 60,790 of the 67,934 ADSs so acquired at a price of $45.92 per ADS.

On 29 March 2011, Mrs Tetrault also sold 37,447 ADSs at a price of $45.95 per ADS.
