AstraZeneca PLC announced today the publication of its Notice of Annual General
Meeting 2007 and Shareholders' Circular.  Copies of the document have been filed
with the UK Listing Authority in accordance with Rule 9.6.1 of the Listing Rules
and are available for viewing at the UKLA document viewing facility at 25 The
North Colonnade, Canary Wharf, London E14 5HS.  The document is also available
on the Company's website www.astrazeneca.com and is being despatched to
shareholders from today.
