EME (ISDX:EM.P) announces the resignation of Shane Moloney as a director with immediate effect. Mr Moloney who is a Principal in Shipleys LLP, wishes to commit more of his time to his professional work at a time when the role of Finance Director of EME is expected to expand.

Nicholas Nelson, Chairman, commented:

"Shane has been with us from the very beginning as a founder member of EME and has helped steer us along a journey lasting more than three challenging years towards what we believe is the breakthrough point.

"Shane is hugely experienced in matters relating to business finance and accountancy and I have been privileged to have worked with him as a co director, but understand that he must focus his activities on Shipleys and his expanding work load."

"In considering a replacement Finance Director, the Board will consider candidates with past experience in African natural resources related companies."
