Equatorial Mining and Exploration Plc
("EME" or the "Company")
Directorate Change
The Company announces that having reached retirement age and following an extended period of poor health Alyn Evans, the Company's Director, has stepped down from the role of Director and the Board with immediate effect.
The Directors would like to thank Alyn for his role during the past three years in helping to advance EME's Nigerian exploration interests under arduous financial constraints. Alyn joined the Company when the plan to explore for solid minerals in West Africa was conceptual and his departure coincides with EME being firmly embedded in Nigeria with two exploration campaigns under its belt.
EME plans to appoint a British mining manager/engineer in Alyn's replacement and is considering a range of applicants.
