Exercise of options

Equatorial Mining & Exploration Plc (''EME or the Company'') announces the exercise of share options granted to senior managers under the Company's recent company share option plan. 

As a result of the exercise of the share options 30,000,000 shares have been issued at a price of £0.0001 per share.

The Company now has a total of 2,756,406,671 ordinary shares of £0.0001 in issue.
