New Executive Director to head Software Engineering Division of Manpower
Software plc
Manpower Software plc announces the appointment to the Board of Mr John
Archibald as Engineering Director, effective today.
Mr Archibald is 46 years old. He joined the Company on 30 October 2000 with
responsibility for the development, implementation and support of all products
in the Company's portfolio. Mr Archibald was previously Deputy IT Director of
First National Bank's Consumer Finance Division and Programme Manager at GE
Capital Woodchester where he was responsible for developing and implementing
the changes necessary, relating to new business facilities, processes and
staff, which followed that Company's acquisition of Woodchester Finance. Mr
Archibald has extensive experience of software development and programme
management in both commercial and government environments. He brings a
Quality focus to the operations of the Division.
Mr Archibald holds 5,000 ordinary shares of 5p each in the Company (0.04% of
the issued ordinary share capital).
The Company confirms that Mr Archibald has not held any directorships in other
publicly quoted companies during the last five years and has no details to
disclose in respect of paragraphs 6.F.2 (b) to (g) of the Listing Rules.
