Iain Bishop appointed Chief Technology Officer
Allocate Software plc has appointed Iain Bishop in the new role of Chief Technology Officer. The appointment is key to Allocate's growth strategy into international markets. Iain will be responsible for the development of all of the company's products and will oversee the roll out of the new architecture across all sectors on a global basis.
Iain brings over 25 years industry experience and joins Allocate Software from Kewill plc where he was the Group CTO for five years. During this time, Kewill doubled its turnover, trebled its profits and acquired a number of businesses in different regions. Prior to this Iain was Director of Research and Development for Systems Union plc, he has run his own consultancy assisting companies with offshoring to India, China and Vietnam, worked as VP Software Development for Telecoms company Servista and was Technical Director for Software House Management Science Ltd.
