MSW TECHNOLOGY PLC - BOARD RESTRUCTURING

MSW Technology plc ('MSW' or 'the Company') announces that it has restructured
its board.

Ross McBeath, Managing Director, has been appointed Chief Executive of US
operations where considerable sales opportunities have been established.
 
Robert Drummond, currently non-executive Chairman, has been appointed Chief
Executive of the Company.  Formerly managing director of Nat West Ventures Ltd
and Grosvenor Venture Management Ltd, Robert Drummond was also Chairman of the
British Venture Capital Association.  He has had extensive experience in the
IT sector, through his venture capital activities and directorships of two
other publicly listed software companies.  

Ian Lang, currently a non-executive director, has been appointed Chairman of
the Company.

Jack Debnam, FCA, a former finance director and founder shareholder of Eurotel
Telecom Group Ltd, which was bought-out by the 3i Group in September 1998 for
£38.3 million, has been appointed a non-executive director of the Company.

Chris Satterthwaite has been appointed managing director of the profitable
consultancy division and has stepped down from the main board.

Jayne McBeath, non-executive director, has resigned.

Further to the statement contained in the preliminary announcement of results,
the directors are pleased to confirm that sales prospects have continued to
improve.
