MANPOWER SOFTWARE PLC ("the Company")

NOTIFICATION OF MAJOR INTEREST IN SHARES

The Company was notified on 14 May 2004 that, following a transaction in the
ordinary shares of the Company, Jupiter Asset Management Limited has an
aggregate interest in 4,480,000 ordinary shares of 5p each in the Company
("Shares"), representing 10.13 per cent of the Company's issued share capital.

Jupiter Asset Management Limited does not hold any Shares beneficially but holds
them as an investment manager acting on behalf of discretionary clients.
