Change of auditor
Aukett Swanke (AIM: AUK), the smart buildings and architecture group, announces that it has appointed a new external audit firm, following an audit tender process. This process was a part of the previously announced £2m cost reduction programme.
The Board has accepted the resignation of its current auditor, Moore Kingston Smith LLP, and has approved the appointment of MAH Professional Services Limited (trading as MAH, Chartered Accountants) ("MAH") as its new external auditor. In accordance with Section 519 of the Companies Act 2006, Moore Kingston Smith LLP has deposited with the Company a statement confirming that there are no matters to be brought to the attention of the Company's members or creditors.
MAH will conduct the audit of the Group's financial statements for the financial year ending 30 September 2024 and a proposal to reappoint them as auditors of the Company will be subject to the approval of shareholders at the 2025 Annual General Meeting.
