                           Director's Shareholding

Further to the exercise of options announced on 15 January 2001, John Thake, a
director of the Company, sold 62,708 ordinary shares in Aukett on 24 January
2001 at 16.5p per share.

Following this transaction, Mr Thake is now interested in 1,508,018 ordinary
shares in Aukett, which represents 2.08% of the Company's issued ordinary
share capital.
