APPOINTMENT OF UK MANAGING DIRECTOR

Aukett Group Plc, the international group of architects, engineers and designers
are pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Newman as UK Managing Director
with immediate effect. The appointment marks a clear differentiation between
Aukett Group plc, headed by Jose Luis Ripoll, and the UK operational business
with its offices in London and Glasgow.

Mr Newman, 47, is an architect and a member of the Royal Institute of British
Architects. He joined the Group in 1981, was made a director of the UK trading
company, Aukett Limited, in 1990. Following the reorganisation of the UK
operations in May 2002, he has headed up the Retail & Transportation team. He
was made a Board Director of Aukett Group Plc in June 2003.

Jose Luis Ripoll, Chairman and CEO, commented 'The appointment of a UK Managing
Director is a key step for the Group in its plans to move forwards following the
changes arising out of the recent Extraordinary General Meeting. Paul has been
given a remit to build on the changes introduced by the management team over the
past 18 months and capitalise on our strengths in all of the markets within
which we operate.'
