End of Merger Discussions
On 08 August 2007 Aukett Fitzroy Robinson Group Plc ('the Company') announced
that it had entered into non binding heads of agreement relating to a proposed
merger with SMC Group Plc ('SMC') and that the discussions were at an early
stage.
The Company today announces that it has been unable to agree satisfactory terms
with SMC for a merger and those discussions with SMC have ceased.
In its trading update on 25 September 2007 the Company announced that trading
has remained strong and accordingly the Company expects to report results for
the year ended 30 September 2007 in line with current forecasts.
