Aukett Group Plc, the international group of architects, designers and
engineers, announces that, following the merger with Fitzroy Robinson in April,
Jose Luis Ripoll, currently Executive Chairman, will become non-Executive
Chairman of the enlarged Group with effect from 1 July 2005.

Mr Ripoll, aged 39, joined Aukett as Executive Chairman in 2004. He became a
Spanish registered architect in 1990, training at the Madrid School of
Architecture, and worked in the US and Europe before establishing the
architectural practice 'Imagina' in Madrid in 1992. He remains the third largest
shareholder on the Board of the enlarged Company.

Nicholas Thompson, Group CEO, commented:

'Jose Luis has made an significant contribution to the merger of Aukett and
Fitzroy Robinson, creating one of the top ten architectural practices in the
United Kingdom. He has also made a significant contribution to expanding the
range of opportunities available to us in Europe. We look forward to Jose
