Ardana plc: Notification of major interests in shares
Ardana plc (LSE: ARA) ('Ardana' or the 'Company') was notified on 27 October
2005, pursuant to Section 198 of the Companies Act 1985, that as of the close of
business on 26 October 2005, UBS AG, acting through its business group and legal
entities listed below, had a notifiable interest in 5,566,934 ordinary shares of
1p each in the Company, representing 10.02 per cent of the Company's issued
share capital.
UBS AG's holding is made up of an aggregated holding of a material interest in
2,841,744 shares and a non-material interest in 2,725,190 shares.
The Company was informed that none of the Relevant Shares are shares in which
UBS AG is interested by virtue of Section 208 (5) of the Act.
