Proposed Placing under Placing Programme

In response to investor demand, Aurora Investment Trust plc (the "Company") announces a proposed placing of new ordinary shares targeting minimum gross proceeds of £2 million (the "Placing").

The Placing is expected to close at 3pm on 25 August 2016, but may close earlier or later at the discretion of the Company and Liberum.

The issue price of the Placing will be equal to the net asset value per ordinary share on the business day prior to the closing of the Placing, plus a premium to cover the expenses of the Placing.

The Placing is being conducted in accordance with the terms and conditions as set out in the Company's prospectus dated 22 March 2016.
