Transaction in Own Shares

Aurora Investment Trust plc announces  that it has purchased  130,000
of its own ordinary shares  in the market at  167p per share.   These
shares will be held by the Company in Treasury.

Following the re-purchase,  the Company's issued  share capital  will
remain unchanged at 15,107,250 ordinary shares.  A total of 1,315,000
shares is  now  held in  Treasury.  Therefore, the  total  number  of
ordinary shares with voting rights in the Company is 13,792,250.
