Transaction in Own Shares

Aurora Investment Trust plc announces  that it has today, 7  February
2007, purchased 190,000 of its own  ordinary shares in the market  at
166.97p per  share.   These shares  will be  held by  the Company  in
Treasury.

Following the re-purchase,  the Company's issued  share capital  will
remain unchanged at 15,107,250 ordinary shares.  A total of 1,505,000
shares is  now  held in  Treasury.  Therefore, the  total  number  of
ordinary shares with voting rights in the Company is 13,602,250.
