Aurora Investment Trust plc announces that on 5^th April 2011, it purchased 1,400,000 of its own ordinary shares in the market at 253p per share.  The shares purchased will be held in Treasury.

Following the above purchase, the Company's issued share capital will be 14,391,389 ordinary shares.  A total of 2,839,139 shares will be held in Treasury. Therefore, the total number of ordinary shares with voting rights in the Company will be 11,552,250.
