Board change and trading update
The board of Readybuy plc (the 'Company') announces that Paul Bennett, Chief
Executive, will leave the Company on 22 July 2005. The board wishes Paul every
success in future roles and thanks him for his contribution.
The results of the Company for the year ended 30 April 2005 will be announced on
24 August 2005 and trading losses will be in the order of £220,000.
In addition, following the cessation of the manufacturing business, the Company
will write-off goodwill of some £650,000 and make provision for the write-down
of fixed assets of approximately £150,000. These provisions will be reflected
in the figures for the year ended 30 April 2005.
The board is considering the strategic options available with remaining cash
balances and a further announcement will be issued in due course.
