Issue of Equity
Avacta Group plc (AIM: AVCT), the global provider of proprietary diagnostic tools, consumables and reagents for human and animal healthcare, today announces that 3,779,411 Ordinary Shares of 0.1p ("new Ordinary Shares") have been issued by the Company pursuant to the exercise of share options by former employees.
Application will be made for the new Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and dealings are expected to commence on 19 May 2014.
The total number of Ordinary Shares in issue following the above issue will be 4,029,831,367 each with voting rights. No Ordinary Shares are held in Treasury.
The above figure of 4,029,831,367 shares may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
