Director's Declaration

Further to the announcement made on 15 December 2003 regarding the appointment
of John May the following information is provided in accordance with Paragraph
16.4 of the UKLA's Listing Rules:
(A)  Mr May is currently non-executive chairman of Vianet Group PLC.

(B)  In the previous five years he has held non-executive directorships
     with Countrywide Assured plc, Focus Dynamics plc and FTV Group
     plc.
(C)  From November 1990 to November 1993, he was non-executive director
     of Third Wave Network plc, to which an administrative receiver was
     appointed in August 1994.

There are no other details requiring disclosure under paragraphs 6.F.2(b) to (g)
of the Listing Rules
