The rate of interest (gross of income tax) on the Equities Index Unsecured Loan
Stock 2013 for the quarter ended 30 December 2005 was 1.528 pence per unit
calculated on a net dividend basis, equivalent to £15.28 per 1,000 units of
stock.  The record date was 30 December 2005 and payment was being made on 10
January 2006.
