Equities Index Unsecured Loan Stock 2013 ('Equities Index Stock')

British Empire Securities and General Trust plc announces that it has today bought back 6,539 units of its Equities Index Stock for cancellation at a price of 145.0 pence per unit.  

Following this purchase, 2,629,457 units of the Company's Equities Index Stock remain in issue.
