Further to the announcement of 22 September 2006, in which Avingtrans plc
announced the completion of the acquisition of B&D Patterns, Avingtrans ('
Avingtrans') announces that it has made application for 460,491 additional
ordinary shares of 5 pence each ('the New Ordinary Shares') to be admitted to
trading on AIM.  Admission is expected on 28 September.  The New Ordinary Shares
will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing ordinary share capital of
Avingtrans.
