Peter Brotherhood secures turbine order

Avingtrans PLC (AIM: AVG), which designs, manufactures and supplies original equipment, systems and associated aftermarket services to the energy and medical sectors, is pleased to announce its subsidiary Peter Brotherhood has secured an order to supply steam turbines for a Floating Production Vessel. As part of the deal, which is worth in excess of £10 million and is expected to be delivered during 2020, the business has also secured an option to provide a similar set of turbines for an yet to be confirmed, potential future vessel.

The order follows a similar project that saw Peter Brotherhood supply components for the world's first FLNG vessel conversion - the Hilli Episeyo - which successfully commenced production offshore Cameroon earlier this year.

The UK-based company is rapidly becoming the market leader for these specialist turbines, developing an international reputation for engineering highly-specialised systems for this particular oil & gas sector niche.
