The Trustee of Aviva's All Employee Share Ownership Plan, Hill Samuel ESOP
Trustees Limited, has purchased the undernoted shares in the market to satisfy
awards made under the under the free share element of this Plan.
Because certain Executive Directors of Aviva plc are potential beneficiaries of
the Trust the Company is obliged, under the terms of the Listing Rules, to
disclose these dealings by the Trustee.
