Aviva completes acquisition of Optiom

Aviva plc ("Aviva") today announces that its Canadian business has completed the acquisition of Optiom O2 Holdings Inc ("Optiom") for consideration of c.£100m¹ (c.CAD$170m). The acquisition supports Aviva's capital-light growth in the attractive Canadian market and strengthens Aviva Canada's specialty lines business and distribution capabilities.

The acquisition of Optiom was announced on 27 November 2023.
