Application has been made to the Irish Stock Exchange for admission, by way of
block listing, of 6,000,000 ordinary shares of 25p each in Aviva plc.  These
shares rank pari passu with each other and with existing ordinary shares.



These shares are to be issued as a result of the exercise of options under the
following share option schemes:



Aviva Deferred Bonus Plan
   4,000,000 ordinary shares

Aviva Long Term Incentive Plan
  2,000,000 ordinary shares
