Aviva plc Scrip Dividend Scheme: Listing Application



Application has been made to the Irish Stock Exchange for admission, by way of
block listing, of 9,538,374 ordinary shares of 25p each in Aviva plc.  These
shares rank pari passu with each other and with existing ordinary shares.



These shares are to be issued as a Scrip Dividend alternative to receiving a
cash dividend in respect of the 2005 final dividend.
