                AVIVA PLC - AMENDMENT TO CANCELLATION OF SHARES



An announcment was made on 3 September 2007 for the cancellation of 656,836
shares block listed under the Aviva Long Term Incentive Plan.

This is an amendment to that announcement and the number of shares that should
have been cancelled is 602,548.


An allotment for 54,288 shares was made on 27 August 2007 under the Long Term
Incentive Plan since the last Block Listing Return was submitted on 26 July
2007.
