Secondary Listing on Irish Stock Exchange
Following completion of the merger of CGU plc and Norwich Union plc, which
became effective on 30 May 2000, the undernoted directors were appointed to
the Board of CGNU plc. Their interests in ordinary 25p shares of the Company

Secondary Listings
CGNU is pleased to announce that, in addition to its existing secondary
listing on the Paris Bourse, the Company has obtained a secondary listing for
the ordinary shares in the capital of the Company on the Official List of the
Irish Stock Exchange, sponsored by Davy Stockbrokers. Shares in the Company
commenced trading on the Irish Stock Exchange at 8.00 am on 30 May 2000.
