CGU plc - ANNOUNCEMENT DATES FOR 3 MONTHS 2000 RESULTS 

CGU plc will announce its life and savings new business figures for the first
three months of 2000 on Wednesday, 26 April 2000.

The Group's full results for the first three months 2000 will be announced on
Wednesday, 10 May 2000.
