Application has been made to the Irish Stock Exchange for the admission of
14,278,578 ordinary shares of 25 pence each in Aviva plc to the Official List.
These shares will rank pari passu with existing ordinary shares. These ordinary
shares were issued as a Scrip Dividend alternative to receiving a cash dividend.



The application is expected to be heard on Wednesday 14 December with dealings
expected to commence on Thursday 15 December.
