Total Voting Rights
In accordance with the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, we hereby notify the market of the following:
As at close of business on 30 April 2024, Aviva plc had 2,702,584,761 issued ordinary shares of 32 17/19 pence each admitted to trading. Each ordinary share carries the right to one vote in relation to all circumstances at general meetings of Aviva plc. Aviva plc does not hold any ordinary shares in treasury.
In addition, on 30 April 2024, Aviva plc had 346,560 ordinary shares of 32 17/19 pence each, purchased through the share buyback programme announced on 7 March 2024, and subject to cancellation. Aviva plc does not hold any ordinary shares in treasury.
Therefore, as at close of business on 30 April 2024, the total number of voting rights in Aviva plc was 2,702,238,201.
The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Aviva plc under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
