                               Management Change

Avon Rubber p.l.c. announces that Jonty Palmer, head of its Respiratory
Protection businesses will be leaving the Group. Following his departure the
Respiratory Protection businesses will report directly to Terry Stead, Chief
Executive.

Commenting on the departure, Terry Stead said;

'I would like to thank Jonty for all his efforts over the last two years and I
wish him every success in the future.

'Avon's protection businesses are key to our future growth profile and I look
forward to working more closely with the Respiratory Protection team in order to
deliver on the potential of the exciting opportunities open to us .'
